Our Ultrasound Products

Important Scientific Tips & Information for Buyers

  • Ultrasound manufacturers are converting production from larger, roll-around units to laptops or notebooks, so smaller is better from the resale standpoint. (But if you go small, ensure you’re still able connect as many probes as you may need in the future.)
  • Buyers rarely have a bad experience when dealing with sellers whose credentials are excellent as well as checkable.
  • All purchasable systems in the U.S. have already been cleared by the FDA for both safety and appropriate use, so different brands have much more in common than you probably think.
  • All new systems are diagnostic. For those that cost under $80,000 or so, the axial and lateral resolution is 1mm, meaning that you can diagnostically see all where two different densities touch except for the first mm. On ultrasound machines costing over $80,000, the resolution is ½mm, which is clinically insignificant.
  • There are three ultrasound system scanning modes: grayscale, color Doppler and 3D/4D. Only one system allows you to purchase the scanning mode you need now and later activate the other modes for just a smaller activation charge (rather than having to buy a new system to add modes as your needs may change).

We Install All Brands

Did you know that there are now only 10 national ultrasound manufacturers? This is because our national companies buy each other out to eliminate competition and acquire better technology.

For instance: GE and Medison bought Kretz 3D/4D Voluson. Medison U.S. continued operations after a major Medison bankruptcy. Siemens bought Acuson to improve Siemens technology. Philips bought ATL to improve Philips Technology. HP, Sonosite and Apogee acquired ATL technology. Esaote bought Pie to improve Pie technology. SIUI manufacturing was bought for Shimadzu and Hitachi — and on and on.

Most ultrasound systems and components, even GE, are now manufactured in China — and are excellent.

Our Track Record Of Service

Our company was founded 107 years ago (1902) and evolved from food milling, to wholesale and retail building materials, to electronics and defense contracting, to management of sales operations for Macy's Department Stores and ultimately to ultrasound system, portable ultrasound and ultrasound machine CME education, equipment design, FDA approvals and sales — which is our sole business today.

We have educated thousands of physicians in the use of ultrasound systems. Our ACCME CAT 1 CME ultrasound courses are taught at MD Anderson Cancer Center, Mt. Sinai School of Medicine in NYC, the Ethicon Endo-Surgery Division of Johnson & Johnson, Emory and in private medical offices nationwide.

With help from our leasing representative, we have arranged over 4,000 medical equipment leases for hospitals and private physicians.

We are proud to have been awarded the Better Business Bureau highest rating of A+ for Reliability. We approved U.S. Government Contractors and approved sellers to government entities and hospitals nationwide, such as MD Anderson, Emory, HCA, Tenet Healthcare, Johns Hopkins to name just a few.

Under References you can explore comments about us from physicians and see a current listing of nationwide hospitals and private physicians we have served. We are national ultrasound distributors and can offer you national ultrasound service as well as ship your system around the world.

It is our pleasure to serve you!
